The Senior Citizen Services Help for Hire Program is a referral service available to senior citizens of Macomb County who are 60 years and
older. * For senior citizens the program offers a list of referrals of individual workers. Each list may contain anywhere from 10 to 60 different
individual workers who will assist seniors with odd jobs. In order to receive a list of referrals you must first mail in a Memo of Understanding. Once we receive the Memo of Understanding in our office a list will be mailed to you.
** These workers are self employed individuals who work part time. We have requested these individual workers to reduce their fees ($8 to
$10 Hr.) for senior citizens of Macomb County. For workers there is a $10 processing and updating fee to join the referral list.
